Copper Patina

The past month or so I've been experimenting with different types of patina. I first tried using liver of sulfur, but the results were not as bright as I wanted. Then I splurged and bought a micro torch, to try making my own ball pins, and see the patina effects of heating copper. I've been having lots of fun with it! I love the rainbow colors. I don't know if they will last though, I may try sealing?

The Blues...







It's funny how much blue, turquoise, aqua jewelry I make. I rarely wear those colors, but they appeal to me creatively. I think it's because it reminds me of the beach and the water.
