Getting excited for spring, I am so tired of snow. With the temperatures in the 50's this week, here are some springy creations I came up with:


These dyed jade nuggets remind me of jelly beans!

Up north....

Spent the weekend up north with the family and my BFF and her husband. While the guys went out ice fishing, Lisa and I spent the weekend in front of the fire, creating jewelry (me) and digi scrapping (Lisa). This is what I got done.

This is a set one of my bosses requested. I hope she likes it!

My daughter wanted to make a bracelet too, this is her creation:

One of my goals for the new year is to try more wire work, as well as different techniques. Here's my first real attempt at chainmaille, using anodized aluminum jump rings:


I am also trying out hand stamping resin pendants:




Other projects of the week:

I am trying to learn how to do wire work, starting out with copper craft wire. Once I get better at it, I will try using sterling silver wire.

With all the holiday sales going on at all my favorite beading sites, ordered some new supplies this week - hopefully it will get me motivated to create!
