More new techniques

My first sucesses with two-part resin. I have a few experiments that didn't turn out so well, but I was happy with these.

Vintaj fever

I've been checking out the blog for Vintaj lately, loving all their new items and watching the technique videos. I was inspired to alter this leaf blank with embossing powder and alcohol inks, then adding a layer of clear gloss. I was very happy with the result:

The new Arte Metal is very cool too.

A couple of bracelet sets I donated to an auction to raise money for my son's marching band:

Feeling more creative lately...

I won these beautiful beads as part of prize package from a contest at Artbeads.com. I'm not sure what they are, I think maybe red agate? I love the beautiful fall colors in them.

I made one like this last year, decided to make another!

Petoskey Stones

A friend collected some Petoskey stones for me from up north (Petoskey, MI of course!). After spraying with some acrylic spray, I attempted to wire wrap a few for pendants. I was pretty happy with the results! I used 20 ga. sterling silver wire for the wraps.

I also have been trying metal stamping with alphabet stamps and sterling silver blanks. After a couple of (expensive!) mistakes (a "g" can sure look like an "a" when it's backwards!), I attached copper stamped hearts and hung on sterling silver ball chains.

I love summer!

Back recently from a family vacation, finally posting some more stuff. I love anything to do with seashells, as you can see from some of these creations!
